At Seriously Addictive Mathematics (S.A.M), we hold a fundamental belief: every child has the potential to excel in math. Our approach is distinct from traditional math enrichment programs. We don’t just teach procedures; we cultivate understanding. By emphasizing comprehension over memorization, we ensure that math becomes more than a series of symbols it becomes a language of logic and discovery.
Through fostering critical thinking, logical reasoning, and problem-solving skills, we equip students with the confidence and tools they need to embrace math challenges with ease
Join us and witness the S.A.M difference—where math education becomes a transformative journey towards lifelong success.

At Seriously Addictive Mathematics (S.A.M), we take pride in our unique approach to math education—the Two-Pillared Approach.
Research has shown that children aged 12 and below learn better when they have close adult supervision and tactile activities. This is why we have designed our class size to be small and trainers have one-on-one time with each child.
We use the Concrete-Pictorial-Abstract approach to help students understand an abstract subject such as math
Concrete stage is the “doing” stage where children use physical objects such as manipulatives.
Pictorial stage is the “seeing” stage where children use drawings or pictures.
Abstract stage is the “symbolic” stage where children use abstract symbols to represent math.
Created by a team of former Singapore school teachers and textbook publishers, S.A.M worksheets’ tasks are comprehensive, varied and incrementally advanced, so that learning is kept challenging yet achievable, to keep children motivated.
Through guided practice in class and independent practice at home, children develop mastery in math, problem-solving and thinking skills, self-discipline and good study habits.
Concrete stage is the “doing” stage where children use physical objects such as manipulatives.
Pictorial stage is the “seeing” stage where children use drawings or pictures.
We use a comprehensive diagnostic assessment to pinpoint the topics a child has mastered and the topics the child needs more support with. Then, we prescribed a personalized learning plan tailored to each child at their own skill level and pace, because no two children learn alike.
In addition, we use the coaching approach with probing questions and a lot of encouragement to help students explore, discover and build confidence towards math.
